2. Strict Data Purging & Security Protocol

Your security and protection against liability and data breaches is our highest priority. We automatically purge your Social Security Number and all highly sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from our servers the moment your background check is successfully completed by our certified third-party vendor. We do not retain SSNs on our databases long-term under any circumstances.

3. Payment Information

We do not store, process, or transmit your credit card, debit card, or direct banking information. All payment processing is handled securely by our PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processor, Stripe. Your financial data is governed solely by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information collected via our platform for a variety of business purposes described below:

• To Facilitate Services: Matching independent contractors with customers based on location, availability, and required skills.
• To Ensure Safety: Processing mandatory FCRA-compliant background checks and identity verification via our integrated third-party partners (Certn and Didit).
• To Manage User Accounts: Processing logins, account recovery, and subscription management.
• To Enforce Terms: Monitoring for fraudulent referral activity and enforcing our Terms of Service.

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not and will never sell your personal data to data brokers or marketing agencies. We only share your information with third parties in the following situations:

• Service Providers: We share necessary data with Stripe (for payments) and Certn/Didit (for mandatory background and identity checks).
• Between Users: To facilitate the gig-work transaction, Housekeepers and Customers are provided with each other's necessary operational details (e.g., first names, property addresses, and custom instructions) once a task is scheduled.
• Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information where we are legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.

6. Your Data Rights & Deletion

You have the right to access, update, or permanently delete your account and personal data at any time. By utilizing the "Delete Account" function in your Account Settings dashboard, all personal data, scheduled tasks, and profile information are permanently eradicated from our active databases.
